I want you to get the care you deserve.
About Me
I started my career in behavioral health nearly two decades ago, working in hospitals and public systems—places where I led teams, managed crises, and tried to create change from within. As I moved into leadership roles, I saw more clearly how the system was failing both clients and clinicians.
I watched incredible people—clients and coworkers alike—get burned out, dismissed, or lost in red tape. And I felt it too. Despite the impact I was making, I knew I wasn’t doing the work that called to my soul. So I took the leap.
I created Burke Counseling and Wellness to offer therapy the way it should be: grounded in connection, authenticity, and flexibility. This practice honors the people I’ve worked with, the lessons I’ve learned, and the healing I believe we all deserve.
Outside of therapy, I’m a twin boy mom—equal parts referee, snack supplier, and adventure guide. Fitness keeps me grounded; strength training and Zone 2 workouts are my therapy too. I believe healing happens in motion—on hikes, road trips, or backyard adventures.
Transforming mental healthcare
I’m a therapist, but not the kind who just nods and asks, “how does that make you feel?”
I believe therapy should be a real, human experience—where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow. I show up as my full self, and I invite you to do the same. Because healing doesn’t happen in silence—it happens in connection.
Whether you're navigating anxiety, burnout, identity exploration, relationship challenges, or simply feeling stuck, I’m here to walk alongside you. My work is rooted in compassion, clinical expertise, and real-world experience.
A modern approach
I specialize in working with LGBTQ+ individuals who’ve felt like they didn’t quite fit the mold. You don’t have to explain your identity to me—I get it. I offer an inclusive space where your full self isn’t just welcome, it’s centered.
I also support women navigating the emotional and mental health impacts of perimenopause—a time that often gets overlooked. My approach integrates science, lived experience, and a deep respect for each client’s process.
At Burke Counseling and Wellness, I meet people where they are—with empathy, honesty, and the belief that everyone deserves to rise.
